This ministry plans and implements ways for Pulaski Heights United Methodist people to be a warm, welcoming congregation.  Ministry teams are responsible for the following:

*greeting visitors at worship

*visitor follow-up

*referrals of visitors to appropriate classes and groups

*working with Communications Committee to publicize the church

*maintaining Visitor Information booth

*contacting new residents

*hosting Visitor Luncheons

*hosting United Methodism classes

*providing training for greeters and ushers

*sponsoring a fall "back to church" event

Involvement:

There are openings on all ministry teams and new members are always welcome. Involvement can be tailored to the individual. Some teams work throughout the year and some focus on one-time events. Call Rev. Lynn Lindsey or Anne Laidlaw to visit about these opportunities.

The Welcome Committee collaborates with the Communications Committee on the Igniting Ministry Campaign, a national public relations campaign sponsored by the United Methodist Church. The theme of this campaign is "Open Hearts...Open Minds...Open Doors".
