Caring Ministries & Pastoral Care
Clergy, trained professionals and caring volunteers offer support through a variety of ministries.
Stephen Ministers are trained to be confidential listeners who support and comfort people in times of need.
Cancer Friends and Support Groups are for those dealing with cancer. Sharing and caring is the purpose of support group meetings and luncheons with guest speakers.
Al-Anon meetings support families and friends of alcoholics.
Grief Support group meetings and counseling provide help and hope when loss and grief are overwhelming.
Society of Stephen members offer rides to church or the doctor. The deliver communion to those at home. they visit nursing homes and hospitals.
Short-term Classes are offered for grief, divorce and coping at critical times, including holidays.
Pastoral Care is offered by clergy and professions on a confidential basis.
The I Take You is a seminar for engaged and newlywed couples, offered three to four times a year.
