ChristCare Ministry Groups

ChristCare Groups are gatherings of 6-12 persons who meet regularly to develop close personal bonds with one another and with Jesus Christ. ChristCare Groups are involved in four types of activities: community building and care; Bible study; prayer and worship; and mission services.

Involvement:

There are always openings in ChristCare Groups so please consider being a part of this small group ministry. Some groups address specific needs such as the Divorce Care group that meets every Monday night at the church from 7to 8 p.m.. Other groups are open to all interested. Please call Cindy Burns or Rev. Meeting Schedule: Groups meet at a variety of time.

The Tuesday ChristCare Group, led by Betty Gene Mann, adopted Theogene Nziyumuira, age 14, from Rwanda in February 2003. Sonrise Orphans Ministry, a part of the Mustard Seed Project, allowed groups or individuals to adopt a Rwandan orphan for $25 a month. The group members are Jane Adamson, Marsha Allbritton, Martha Clark, Gayle Gardner, Ferris Garrison, Sara Harrison, Freddie Nixon, Judy See and Cathy Spivey.
