Dear Friends of PHUMC:

 

I am writing to thank you for your financial support for our church in 2007 and to urge you to make a financial pledge to the Ministries/Operations and Broadcast Ministries of our church for 2008 before the end of January if you have not done so.

 

Ministries/Operations provides basic support for the church ministries, programs for all ages, staff and personnel, as well as missions, benevolences, maintenance and administration.  Your financial support will ensure that the church continues to change lives for Christ and to grow in faith and in ministry.

 

Broadcast Ministries supports our weekly telecast of the Sanctuary Service viewed across the state and radio broadcast of New Heights, as well our Internet Ministry that reaches around the world.

 

The church Finance Committee will recommend a 2008 budget to the Board of Stewards on Monday, January 28, so it is critical that your pledge be received before that date.

 

I hope that you will pray about this important matter, asking what God wants you to do financially for our church this year.
