The Society of St. Stephen provides a way for United Methodist lay people in local congregations to serve others, to live in obedience to God's call and to live and grow as disciples of Jesus Christ.

In 1979, the Society of St. Stephen was organized as a caring ministry of Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church. Our Society was the first to be organized in a Little Rock area United Methodist Church. As Society members visit the sick, provide transportation to the doctor's offices, or simply listen to a lonely person, we are doing Christ's work in today's world.

We want you to know that these services are available to you, should you ever need them. We also invite you to join us in providing this important and rewarding ministry.
