Missions for Children

United Methodist Children's Home. Uses sophisticated motivational systems to untangle complex emotional and behavioral problems of children, ages 10-17; call 501-661-0720

Woodlawn Therapeutic Children's Center. Serves abused and neglected children, ages 6 weeks to 5 years, by offering therapy, behavior management, health services and parent support. This center is now part of Centers for Youth and Families which can be contacted at (501) 666-8686. The Centers facility is supported by PHUMC United Methodist Women.

The Shepherd's Ranch. Provides a continuous intervention program for at-risk, economically disadvantaged youth through camps, planned activities and mentors. For more information,  call (501) 372-5700.

Scouting Ministries. Provides action-oriented learning experiences in citizenship and leadership for boys, ages 6-18 .

Watershed. Provides job training, counseling, health care, housing, child care and other hands-on projects for youth

Donations may be made to Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church. Checks should be noted for the "Mission Board Endowment" or a particular mission fund by name, like Camp Aldersgate, RAIN, Pathways, etc.
